Lewisham council is planning to decimate our community centres. This is the campaign to stop this from happening.

Centres possibly under threat in the future

Of the 24 community centres in council ownership, only one is not under any kind of threat. This is the Ackroyd centre, whose chair of Trustees is, entirely coincidentally, also the chair of the “Safer, Stronger Communities” Select committee which will be making its recommendation to the Mayor about what should happen to the centres. The centres in this list are not targetted for changes right now, but are going to be considered for this in the future, according to council documents. They are therefore all still under threat.
